What is a “masia”?

Masia (country farmhouse). It is a one-family dwelling, outside of the village center and located in the same plot as the peasant farmer. It is rented as a rural dwellings, that is, a house or complete apartment. 

What is included in the price?

The price includes the IVA tax, the sheets, kitchen roll, use of bicycles, consumption of water, light, cleaning supplies, firewood, gas, and heating.
Wi-fi Internet access.

How can we make a reservation?

By internet when the new reservation engine runs

How much do I have to pay to make a reservation?

For reservations in the high season, long weekends, other festivals and stays longer that 7 nights, 50 % of the total amount.
For reservations in the low season less than 7 nights, 25 % of the total amount.

How can we make the payment?

If the reservation was made by internet, the payment of one part is made immediately, by credit card. The rest is paid upon arrival at Can Bonet in cash or by credit or debit card.
If the reservation was made by phone or email: when the reservation is finalized, you’ll receive the documents explaining the forms and the terms of the reservation payment.

If we cancel the reservation, will our money be refunded?

The cancellation of the reservation within the 15 days before the occupation date of the rural apartment denotes loss of the down payment.
In other cases, the down payment will be returned to the client.

Are there specific hours of arrival and departure?

The rural apartment will be available from 17:00.
The departure time will be before 12:00*.

*Important note: during the low season the entrance and departure hours can be flexible, as long as it corresponds to our calendar. In cases of other group reservations for the same day, you will have to comply with our fixed arrival and departure schedule:

Is an apartment with cot/cradle available?

Yes, we’ve got a cot/cradle and high chair for children.

Is there internet connection in the apartment?

Yes, in the living-dining room we supply Wi-fi access free of charge.

Can we bring friends and/or family members during our stay at the rural house?

No, we don’t admit more people than have been agreed upon at reservation. We are obligated by law to identify all travelers.

If you hope to have a visitor during your stay you must notify us.
It is understood that visitors are those who spend the day using the facilities of Can Bonet, with the right to use some equipment, without overnight stay or surpassing the designated capacity assigned to each accommodation. They can only be guests of the reservation holder with advance authorization of the owner and signing the corresponding responsibility agreement. The owner, in questions of capacity or other reasons, can refuse the entrance of visitors.

Is there any problem if we arrive during the night of our arrival date?

No, there is no problem, as long as we are notified a few days in advance by email or phone.

Are there breakfast, lunch, and dinner services at Can Bonet?

No, we do not serve breakfast, lunch, or dinner. In our village you’ll find two magnificent restaurants with excellent local cuisine. Also available to you is the restaurant of the Santuari dels Angels, fifteen minutes away by car.

Will we be able to cook?

You will indeed be able to cook, there is a fully equipped kitchen for your private use.

Are there shops in the village?

In the neighbourhood of Vilossa you´ll find Eco Vilossa, a family business that sells ecological farm products and other organic products.

Five minutes away by car, the neighboring villages offer you anything you might need.

Is there any additional cost for cleaning?

No, but it is your obligation to leave the rural apartment in a reasonably similar condition to how you found it upon arrival.

Is there a pool at Can Bonet?

No, there is no pool at Can Bonet, but the neighboring villages (Celrà and Flaçà) have outdoor municipal pools. The coves and beaches of the Costa Brava are also very nearby to Can Bonet.

Are domestic animals permitted?

Yes, always, if they are clean, trained domestic animals, under complete responsibility of their owner. There is a supplemental fee of 10 Euros per animal and stay.
